Russian Anastasians in 2017 - a retrospective.

In Russia, there are 337 Ringing Cedars-inspired settlements (villages) as of June 4, 2016. Since the application process for 1 hectare of free land opened on June 1, 2016 another 40,000 Russian families have had their applications approved. The land available currently in Russia is in the Far East region, near Japan. Right now, there are another 100,000 applications for 1 hectare of free land in process, with more applications being submitted daily. The Russian Far East ministry of Economic Development is in charge of the project. Are "dependency models" useful in eradicating child poverty?

Are dependency models the answer? It's time policy-makers started looking at "supported independency" models... What these experts miss seeing from all their calculations and best laid plans is the human spirit... Feelings of subordination, of being nothing and no-one, of being or feeling stupid, small, unheard -  This is where the real battle ground is. The "battle" is not about money, ability, intelligence or lack of it... It's not about throwing money at people... It's about SELF WORTH.

Belarus law is ready to be passed in 2017.

The Vice-Premier informed that the concept of the draft law on patrimonial estates is in a high degree of readiness, a working group has been created that is considering this issue. "In general, the concept is practically developed, now we are clarifying some specific points. In particular, the question of how much land to allocate for such estates is being discussed," he explained.

Dr. Leonid Sharashkin looks into the Russian "dacha" or "summer house garden plot".

Dacha gardening accounts for about 3% of the arable land used in agriculture, but grows an astounding 50% by value of the food eaten by Russians. According to official government statistics in 2000, over 35 million families (approximately 105 million people or 71% of the population) were engaged in dacha gardening. These gardens provide 92% of Russia’s potatoes, 77% of its vegetables, 87% of the berries and fruit, 59% of its meat and 49% of the milk produced nationally. 

Anastasia in the Ringing Cedars of Russia books tells us, "Take back your motherland". We therefore need to ask ourselves, what is and where is my motherland? This is the first step we need to take so we can establish ourselves in all authenticity on our 1 hectare (2.5 acre) "space of love".

What is "Kin's domain", "Space of love" and "Rodovoe Pomestie"?

In English, we often call our family estate or "kin's domain" our "space of love". In Russian it is called "rodovoe pomestie" which means, "the place of my eternal family line". This is an area of land 10,000 metres square (1 hectare or 2.5 acres). "Rodovoe pomestie" - 1 hectare of land (2.5 acres) which is handed down to the next generations of your family, into perpetuity. The land is never to be sold.

It's a beautiful heartfelt place that you build and grow during your lifetime, and which you hand down to your descendants after you. That land can never be sold. That land has no true value except for you and your descendants.
